  • British sculptor Antony Gormley has placed 31 figures of himself cast in iron and glass fibre on city pathways, pavements, rooftops and ledges of New York City. The exhibition, called "Event Horizon"  marks Gormley's United States public art debut -- a milestone for an artist whose work has garnered worldwide acclaim over the past 25 years.
